The App is a drafting and organisational tool designed to assist professionals in preparing portfolio documentation such as reflective accounts, CPD entries, feedback logs, practice hours records, uploaded evidence, and related professional notes.
The App does not provide clinical, legal, regulatory, employment, or professional advice.
The App does not guarantee professional, regulatory, educational, or employment outcomes.
The App is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
The App is intended to support organisation and drafting only. You remain responsible for reviewing and finalising all content you use.
2. Eligibility & Accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the App.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.
You must provide accurate account information and keep it up to date where relevant.
You may not share your account in a way that breaches these Terms, platform rules, or applicable law.
If you believe your account has been accessed without authorisation, you should contact us promptly.
3. Subscriptions & Payments
The App is a paid service. Purchases and subscriptions are processed via Apple App Store or Google Play, depending on the platform you use.
Subscriptions may auto-renew unless cancelled through the relevant app store account settings.
Pricing, billing, renewal timing, cancellation, free trials, introductory offers, and refunds are handled in accordance with the relevant platform’s policies and billing systems.
We do not store your payment card details.
Access to paid features may be limited, suspended, or withdrawn if payment is not successfully processed, reversed, refunded, or cancelled.
4. User Content
You retain ownership of content you create in the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display that content solely as needed to operate, secure, maintain, and improve the service for you.
You are responsible for the legality, accuracy, and appropriateness of content you upload, enter, save, or export.
You must not upload patient-identifiable information, confidential records you are not authorised to use, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
You should keep reflective and feedback content non-identifiable and professionally appropriate.
You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important content and exports where appropriate.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the App. In particular, you must not:
Use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive purposes.
Upload malware, harmful code, or content intended to disrupt or damage the service.
Attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts, systems, data, or networks.
Reverse engineer, scrape, copy, or exploit the App except as permitted by law.
Use the App in a way that violates confidentiality, privacy, data protection, or professional obligations.
Use the App to create or store patient records or other sensitive records the App is not designed to hold.
6. AI-Generated Content
The App uses artificial intelligence to generate drafting suggestions based on your input.
Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your intended purpose.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying all content before relying on it, saving it, sharing it, or submitting it anywhere.
The App is not a medical decision support system and must not be used to make clinical decisions.
AI output is provided “as is” as a drafting aid only.
We may use analytics, diagnostics, attribution, and product experience tools, including third-party tools, to understand feature usage, measure app performance, troubleshoot issues, improve reliability, and improve user experience.
These tools may include Firebase Analytics, UXCam, and Meta (Facebook App Events), or successor tools providing substantially similar services.
Firebase Analytics may be used to understand app usage, engagement, feature interaction, and general product analytics.
UXCam may be used for session analytics, experience insights, navigation flow analysis, diagnostics, and session replay style features.
Meta (Facebook App Events) may be used for attribution, conversion measurement, campaign performance measurement, and marketing analytics.
These tools may process technical and interaction data such as screen views, taps, navigation flow, crashes, performance signals, session activity, device/app information, identifiers, and similar usage data.
Where appropriate, we use masking, occlusion, and similar privacy controls on sensitive areas of the App.
We do not intentionally use these tools to capture patient-identifiable information, confidential patient records, or payment card details.
On iOS devices, any tracking functionality that requires consent is intended to be enabled only after you provide permission through Apple’s App Tracking Transparency framework, where applicable.
We do not use Firebase Analytics or UXCam for cross-app behavioural advertising profiling. Meta tools may be used for attribution and marketing measurement in accordance with your device permissions, platform settings, and our Privacy Policy.
8. Availability, Updates & Changes
We may update, modify, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App from time to time, including features, functionality, integrations, subscriptions, pricing, and technical requirements.
We do not guarantee that the App will always be available, uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with every device or operating system version.
We may release patches, upgrades, updates, or new versions, and some updates may be required for continued use.
Some features may depend on third-party services or platform functionality outside our control.
9. Suspension & Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you breach these Terms, misuse the service, create risk for us or other users, or where suspension/termination is required for legal, security, or operational reasons.
You may stop using the App at any time.
You may request deletion of your account in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any in-app deletion options we provide.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature should survive termination, including payment, liability, intellectual property, and legal compliance provisions.
10. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We make no promise that the App is suitable for every user, profession, regulator, employer, or purpose.
We do not promise that content generated or stored in the App will satisfy any regulator, employer, educational provider, or assessor.
You are responsible for ensuring your own compliance with professional, employment, regulatory, confidentiality, and record-keeping obligations.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Beemal Innovation Ltd shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, consequential, or punitive losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, data, goodwill, opportunity, or anticipated savings arising from or related to your use of the App.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the App or these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you to use the App in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including your statutory consumer rights where applicable.
12. App Stores & Third-Party Services
If you download or use the App through Apple App Store or Google Play, you also agree to comply with the relevant platform’s applicable terms, rules, and policies.
Apple and Google are not responsible for the App’s content, maintenance, support, or warranty except to the extent required by their own policies or applicable law.
Your use of third-party services integrated with the App may also be subject to those third parties’ own terms and privacy policies.
We are responsible for addressing issues relating to the App itself, subject to these Terms and applicable law.
13. Privacy & Data Protection
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, retain, and protect personal data, including information relating to analytics, attribution, diagnostics, and tracking technologies where applicable.
By using the App, you acknowledge that we may process your information in accordance with the Privacy Policy and applicable law.
